A very fashionable accessory, formed mainly from Akoya pearls, less frequently from small black Tahitian pearls. Thanks to newfangled clasps and fasteners, it comes in two, three or even four rows. The akoya pearls go well with both white and yellow gold, while black Tahitian pearls go well with white gold. Diamonds are also used in bindings and clasps.
